Surveyor, Northwich
Bell Ingram is seeking a Surveyor / Land Agent to join our Infrastructure and Renewables team, helping to deliver current and future projects across the north of England.

Our utilities, infrastructure and land management work in the north of England includes delivering infrastructure and renewable energy projects for a range of clients, as well as supporting the implementation of clients’ land management strategies. The Role
The Surveyor will support the Northwich team in delivering utility, infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing land and property advice and services to, and on behalf of, clients.
- Delivering a range of tasks or schemes to a high standard, using initiative and a proactive approach to ensure deadlines and objectives are met, while taking ownership of work quality.
- Developing strong working relationships with client personnel, contractors, consultants, landowners and occupiers. Leading negotiations, managing expectations and providing feedback to continually improve service delivery.
- Supporting clients with property and asset management – understanding their current asset strategies and advising on long-term improvements, including capital and operational budgeting and investment programmes.
- Upholding quality standards and contributing to strong, ongoing client relationships.
- Supporting trainees within the department and wider office.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the north-west of England.
- Being commercially aware and maintaining accurate records to support regular client reporting and ensure compliance with ISO audit procedures.
- Managing a diverse and exciting portfolio of projects. Applicants should be comfortable handling multiple projects at various stages of development, ensuring they progress efficiently, on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ideally MRICS or AssocRICS qualified, although individuals with relevant experience who are working towards these qualifications will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Familiarity with GIS platforms and MS Project (desirable but not essential).
- Capable of managing multiple projects and handling both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders both on-site and virtually – including colleagues, clients and contractors.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites and project locations.
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.

Locations
Our team operates from two office locations – Northwich and Kendal – often working collaboratively to deliver projects across the north-west. These offices provide specialist land agency advice and services for infrastructure and renewables clients, as well as managing a diverse property portfolio in the region.
