From Lockerbie take the B723 towards Eskdalemuir and a few miles past Boreland you pass over the Black Water at Sandyford. After about one mile turn right just before a house and follow the road for about 0.5 mile and Twiglees can be seen on the right just before a row of 3 cottages.
