Rynachulaig is situated at the foot of Ben Lawer with the famous Loch Tay directly to the south, approximately 4 miles from the village of Killin. The rural village of Killin provides many of the main amenities including shops, restaurants, chemists and a Post Office. For further amenities the town of Kenmore is only 12 miles to the east of the property. Primary schooling is available locally at Kenmore Primary school and secondary schooling can be found at Breadalbane Academy. Private schooling is also available at Ardvreck and Morrisons Academy in Crieff, approximately 30 miles from the property.

With the cities of Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh easily reached within 48, 60 and 76 miles of the property respectively, transport links including airports and railway stations are accessible. The well known. From the west, exit the A85 at Lix Toll Garage onto the A827 signposted for Killin and Falls of Dochart. From the east, exit the A9 following signs for Aberfeldy. Upon reaching Aberfeldy follow the A827 towards Kenmore/Killin. Exit the A827 towards Acharn/Ardtalnaig/Ardeonaig. Follow this road until reaching the village of Killin. Upon reaching Killin continue on the A827. Rynachulaig can be found after approximately 4 miles at the first right after the signpost for the entrance to Loch Tay Highland Lodges and Bistro.
