Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is approximately 63 miles by road and provides all the services of a major regional centre. Inverness Airport provides flights to London and other destinations throughout the UK and Europe.

From Inverness travel north on the A9 to Bonar Bridge and on to Lairg. Leave Lairg on the road to Tongue then turn left onto the A838 to Durness and Kinlochbervie. Follow this road for approximately 13 miles. Oak Lodge is clearly marked on the left-hand side.
