Aros is conveniently situated between Craignure and Tobermory and only a short distance from Salen village offering amenities such as a grocery store with post office, church, hotel and bar, fuel station, coffee shops and restaurants. The plot is ideally placed to provide an excellent base from which to explore the island.

The Isle of Mull is the second largest island within the Inner Hebrides. The island is accessed via a regular car ferry service from Oban to Craignure, a short drive from the plot. Services from Lochaline and Kilchoan on the Morvern and Ardnamurchan peninsulas respectively are also available. There is a small airstrip at Glenforsa suitable for private aircraft and a main line train service operating several times daily between Glasgow and Oban - some connecting directly with the ferries.

Mull boasts an extraordinary and diverse range of scenery, wildlife and leisure activities which brings large numbers of visitors throughout the year. The island also hosts a number of music and arts festivals plus the annual Tour of Mull car rally.

The colourful harbour town of Tobermory is a popular tourist destination and provides an excellent range of dining and shopping opportunities as well as offering primary and secondary schooling, a medical centre, churches, a golf course and a distillery.

Directions

From Oban take that ferry to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Upon disembarking the ferry turn right and follow the road for around 11 miles to the village Salen. Continue through the village and follow the coastal road towards Tobermory for approximately one mile further. The entrance to the plot is on the left-hand side, clearly marked with a Bell Ingram board.
