The land totals 7.01 ha and is being sold in two lots with Lots 1 totalling 3.58 ha and Lot 2 totalling 3.43 ha. It is an open area of grazing which is surrounded by forestry. Access is from the B8024 as shown by the blue route on the attached plan.

The ownership of the route will remain with the Scottish Ministers and the successful purchaser will be granted a servitude right of access.

The current fence lines from A – B on Lot 1 and E – F on Lot 2 require to be moved. Fence lines are to be constructed between Points F – G – E on Lot 2 with a gate installed at Point G, and a fence is to be constructed between Point D – C on Lot 2 and a gate installed within this fence for access to this area adjacent to Point G. A gate is to be installed at Point H on the plan which will join up with the fence at Point G and the area of Lot 2 on the left hand side of the track. Specific details of the fencing requirements are available from the Agent. The successful purchaser will be liable for all costs relating to the fence construction and realignment, the gate installation and all future fencing repairs, maintenance and renewal. Maintenance of the access route shown blue on the attached plan to be shared on a user basis.



Travel south from Tarbert on the A83, turning right onto the B8024 signposted Kilberry. Stay on this road until you reach the village of Torinturk, continue through the village and the entrance track to the land is located at the public phone box, where there is a Forestry Commission Scotland signboard.
