The property has been upgraded to a high standard yet retains charming original features. The property offers the potential for a large family home, or the possibility to let out either the upper or lower parts to give an income.

Steps lead to a patio area outside the front door. A hardwood door opens to the hallway which has two storage cupboards and windows overlooking the garden. Doors give access to the kitchen, dining room, sitting room and stairs lead down to the basement flat and up to the first floor.

To the right of the hall is the spacious dining kitchen which overlooks the side garden. It has a good range of floor and wall units with granite effect worksurfaces and shelving offering extra storage. There is a twin Belfast sink and integrated oven with ceramic hob. A Candy washing machine, Beko fridge and freezer are included in the sale.

From hall a door leads to the dining room which has dual aspect windows enjoying views to the gardens.   A door opens to the sitting room which has a central feature of a multi-fuel stove on a slate hearth with cast iron surround. Dual aspect windows enjoy lovely garden views to the woodland beyond

From the hall stairs rise to the first floor and two bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and bedroom 2 has a feature fireplace with a stone hearth and marble surround. The family bathroom has a three- piece suite in white comprising WC, wash hand basin and bath with mains shower over. The shower room has a large walk in shower which is fully tiled.

Stairs lead from this landing to the upper floor landing which gives access to bedrooms 3, 4 and 5. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are both double rooms and have coombed ceilings and enjoy woodland views. Bedroom 4 has a fireplace with tiled surround and painted hearth. Bedroom 5 is a single room which is currently used as a storeroom and there is also a linen store.

Returning to the main hall and stairs lead down to the basement flat which is accessed via a fire door.

This is a delightful apartment which has its own entrance door which leads to a fully tiled hallway which has a storage cupboard and under shelf storage to the side of the door.

To the left lies the kitchen which has a range of beech effect floor and wall units. There is an electric cooker with ceramic hob. A pretty window seat overlooks the patio.
