From Oban proceed north on the A85 to the village of Connel. On reaching Connel turn right signposted for the Connel Bridge and Benderloch. Cross the bridge and continue north, passing the village of Benderloch. Continue until reaching the village of Barcaldine. Take the second turning on the right, signposted for Barcaldine House. This is a private tree-lined drive shared by a number of residential properties. On reaching the fork in the drive, bear right and take the first left hand turning. Holly Tree Cottage is located on the left hand side.
