From Inverness take the A9 north crossing the Kessock and Cromarty Bridges. After Evanton turn left on the B9176 towards Bonar Bridge and Lairg. Turn left on the A836 and pass through Ardgay. In Bonar Bridge turn left immediately after the bridge to Lairg. Approximately 3 miles north of Lairg turn left on the A838. After some 34 miles turn right at Laxford Bridge on the A894 to Durness. When entering the village Craigmor is on the left-hand side just past the school.
