The Lodge sits in grounds extending to 2.85 acres (1.15 ha) and is Category B listed villa dating from the late 1863. It has an imposing conservatory, which was added in the late 19th century, and an Edwardian baroque entrance porch. It retains many of the period features you would expect including decorative cornicing and dado rails.

The original servants wing of this impressive villa was sympathetically converted to form a separate dwelling. A small section of this independent dwelling sits above the dining room of Callander Lodge.

Accommodation
A solid wood door with a semi circular window above opens into a spacious reception hall with a tiled floor. There is a feature fireplace in the hallway with a marble surround.

The public room on the right has a large bay window to the front, and an open fireplace. The drawing room to the right also has a large bay window and an impressive fireplace in a marble surround. Glazed doors open through to the conservatory which has surrounding full height windows. One set open out to the garden and there is an external door back to the front porch.

Completing the accommodation is a further impressive public room with large windows on two sides, and an open fireplace. There is a connecting door through to the kitchen which has a number of base and wall units and a window to the rear. The ground floor shower room is located to the side of the staircase.

An oak staircase with ornate balustrade leads to a mid-landing where there is a large decorative window flooding each floor with natural light.

On the upper floor are three bedrooms. The master room has a bay window to the rear, a side window and an open fireplace. A connecting door leads through to bedroom three which also has an independent door from the hallway. There are two large storage cupboards in the hallway. Bedroom two again features a bay window and a fireplace. It has a connecting door to the bathroom which can also be accessed from the hallway. The bathroom has bath, wash basin and WC and windows on two sides.
