From the north and south, exit the A90 at the Glamis junction onto the A94 and follow the road to Meigle. On the outskirts of Meigle take the B954 signposted Alyth. On reaching the roundabout take the exit marked Alyth and St Ninian's Road is on the left hand side. Drive along St Ninian's Road and the property is situated on the right hand side.


Caenlochan is situated on a quiet residential street in Alyth, with beautiful views out over the countryside.

The town of Alyth has a variety of amenities including shops, post office, bank and health centre.

The A90 trunk road is only a 20 minute drive, providing access to Aberdeen in the north and Dundee and beyond in the south. Airports can be found at both Aberdeen and Dundee which provide regular flights to London and other international destinations. Access to the main line railway is available at Dundee. Primary schooling is available in Alyth and secondary schooling is available at Blairgowrie and by request at Websters High School in Kirriemuir.

Alyth has its own golf course and several well known golf courses are also located close by, including BlairgowrieKirriemuir, Piperdam, Forfar and Carnoustie – hosts of the 2018 Open Championship.
