Broom Park is situated on the edge the popular village of Bonar Bridge which is an important local centre with shops, post office, primary school, doctor's surgery, cottage hospital, library and golf course. There is also a community hub with gym and soft play. The Royal Burgh of Dornoch is some 12 miles to the east and offers a wide range of facilities including the secondary school, hotels, restaurants, sandy beaches and the well-known Royal Dornoch Golf Course. Tain which is 13 miles east has a good range of supermarkets and a secondary school which means there is the choice of this school or Dornoch School.
Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, is reached in little under an hour's drive and has a modern shopping centre, hospital, theatre, cinemas and mainline railway station. Inverness Airport has a variety of services to destinations both domestic and overseas. These include Flybe, BA and Easyjet to London Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham, Belfast, Manchester, Bristol and Amsterdam. The general area of Sutherland offers many outdoor pursuits with ample opportunity for recreational activities and plenty of choice for the hillwalker and mountaineer. The local rivers and lochs provide good quality salmon and trout fishing for the angler and there are several excellent golf courses close by.



From Inverness take the A9 north crossing the Kessock and Cromarty Bridges. Continue on the A9 and after Evanton turn left onto the B9176 to Bonar Bridge. After crossing the Bonar Bridge turn left continue through the village. Turn right just before you reach the national speed limit sign and the drive to Broom Park is on your left.
