How much is my property worth? Agents use technology to conduct desktop valuations

The first thing all sellers want to know is how much their property is worth.

But with valuations not possible in-person at the moment, Bell Ingram’s estate agents are using the wonders of modern technology to conduct desktop and virtual assessments while following the government’s important social distancing restrictions.

Carl Warden, Head of Estate Agency, says: “This approach allows us to provide sellers with a professional valuation without our agents physically visiting the property.

“All the seller needs to do is take a short video and/or photographs of their property, then arrange a call with the agent to discuss the sale.

“Based on the images and information supplied, our highly experienced team will fully research the property and – just as they would have done before lockdown - send a detailed report with a realistic sales or rental price for the property.

“If the vendor decides to go ahead, the agent is then able to start the marketing process and conduct virtual viewings.

“In the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any residential queries. Our estate agents are hard at work and here to help … just not from the usual places. Early discussions with one of our experts will help get everything lined up and we are always available for an initial discussion.”
