Bell Ingram celebrates move to new Oban office
Bell Ingram is celebrating the opening of our new, town centre office in Oban after making a short ‘flit’ to new premises at 5 Albany Street.
The Oban office is headed by Andrew Fuller, a premium property market specialist, who joined Bell Ingram in 2018 after 14 years managing high-end development projects in the United Arab Emirates.
Andrew said: “Bell Ingram’s Oban office has offered a full range of estate agency, land management and design services to clients along the west coast of Scotland, the west Highlands and the islands for 10 years.
“This latest move signals an exciting new chapter for the company as we underline our commitment to Oban and strengthen our ambition to become the region’s premium rural estate agency. Oban is an ambitious town with enormous potential, and we are excited to be a part of its future.”
Although he is based in Oban, you are just as likely to find Andrew hopping onto a ferry or boarding a plane to meet island-based clients.
He continued: “What sets Bell Ingram apart is our in-depth, local knowledge of the region, our attention to detail and, above all, our desire to go the extra mile (quite literally!) for our clients. Whether you are buying, selling or renting, Bell Ingram’s highly qualified team can advise on all aspects of property management.”
From stunning character cottages to Grade A-listed baronial castles, Argyll and Bute has some of Scotland’s most desirable property. Newly launched on the market with Bell Ingram, at offers over £875,000, a wonderful beachfront property at Ganavan Sands is a prime example of the kind that’s putting Oban on the map for discerning buyers.
Andrew explained: “With panoramic sea views towards the Islands of Mull and Lismore, 6 Ganavan Sands offers buyers an opportunity to acquire a spectacular, architect designed, six-bedroom home, situated in a wonderful beachfront location, just 2.5 miles from Oban.
“Given the wonderful coastal location, it has attracted potential purchasers not only from Scotland, but from further afield. Such has been the level of interest prompt viewing is highly recommended.”
He added: “We are seeing a big demand for homes in this area, particularly in the £500,000+ category, from buyers south of the border and abroad. Encouragingly there is no indication that the prospect of Brexit is deterring home movers and, with more property coming up for sale, the outlook is healthy as market confidence continues to grow.”
Andrew is supported by a highly qualified and knowledgeable team comprising: Jackie Moore (Residential Lettings Manager), Mairi Kennedy (Lettings and Property Management) and Laura MacCallum (Property Sales Assistant).
Both Jackie and Laura recently received prestigious professional qualifications which provide reassurance to clients that Bell Ingram continues to adhere to the highest standards.
Laura gained a Level 6 Award in Sale of Residential Property (Scotland) and is now a member of the National Association of Estate Agents, while Jackie received the Propertymark Qualifications Level 6 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management (Scotland).
Both qualifications count as a real stamp of competence and support best practice within the industry.
Jackie said: “These Awards are a mark of expertise and trust. They provide reassurance to clients dealing with Bell Ingram that the agency adheres to the highest professional standards, and that employees are qualified and knowledgeable estate and letting agents.”
Jackie is currently fielding a record demand for rental property in Oban town centre. She added: “For every flat or house that comes onto the market I can guarantee several suitable applicants. So, if you are thinking of getting into the rental market, or you are looking to increase the income from your existing property portfolio, professional advice is money well spent. Be aware of the new legislation and work with an expert to guide you through the process.”
Bell Ingram currently manages many hundreds of thousands of hectares of private and corporate estates across the UK and the Oban office will continue to offer a Land Management service alongside its Design service, together with a dedicated practice of architects, planning consultants and building surveyors.
Mark Mitchell, Managing Partner of Bell Ingram, said: “Our clients know that we work hard to ensure everything we do is of the very highest standard. The new office is a reflection of this and we look forward to welcoming our clients to the new premises and, of course, to our other offices throughout the UK.”
