Land Agents volunteer for local Wildlife Trust

The team at Bell Ingram Northwich swapped their laptops for hedgecutters and ‘got their hands dirty’ for a local charity.  Teaming up with Cheshire Wildlife Trust (CWT) the Land Agents combined Professional Development with volunteering to learn about the management of the lowland grazing marshland, while helping the Charity to clear ditches and cut and prepare hedges.

Chris Meredith said,

‘We were delighted when the Bell Ingram team offered to come out to learn more about the work of Cheshire Wildlife Trust and get some hands-on experience.  The day was a great success and the work of the Northwich team will benefit the wildlife and biodiversity of our Gowy Meadows Nature Reserve in the year to come.”

Hannah Rayne, Senior Associate at Bell Ingram said.

‘CWT manage and lease the land for the reserve from our clients Essar Oil (UK). It is important that we understand the nature of their work and build good relationships with the charity.  We enjoyed our valuable day of CPD and volunteering and hopefully the Trust have benefitted from our hard work out on the Reserve.’ 164
