Bell Ingram - serving UK's land and property owners to make the most of their assets
Bell Ingram supports next generation of land agents
Bell Ingram Partner Sarah Tyson spoke last week to students at SRUC Edinburgh and Craibstone campuses as part of her role as external examiner for the BA Rural Business Management course.
The SRUC degree is the only RICS approved undergraduate course in Scotland and is now producing graduates feeding into the rural surveying firms to start their professional training.
Sarah commented, “It is excellent to have ‘home grown’ trainees who have a detailed and practical rural knowledge and can hit the ground running when they start jobs after finishing college.
SRUC have picked up the industry’s needs for land agents in Scotland and those pursuing the profession are seeing the variety of work the job offers – from valuing different types of property to letting cottages under the new tenancy rules or dealing with really practical things like fencing and building repairs.
Bell Ingram have employed two recent graduates into our trainee programme who are full of enthusiasm and act as good ambassadors for the course”.
