Unique Collection of Farm Machinery Comes Under the Hammer

The Late Les Walker was extremely well known on the vintage and ploughing circuits.  He spent a lifetime collecting and restoring tractors, ploughs and other farm machines.  During the 80s and 90s he ran the Great Smeaton Vintage Working Day very successfully; providing a focal point for ploughmen and collectors every autumn.  Over the course of many years, this event raised a lot of money for charity.

Les was a keen ploughman and was always on the podium in the Ferguson class at local ploughing matches.  This hobby endured throughout his life.

The vast majority of the Les Walker Tractor Collection are locally sourced from Yorkshire and Durham.  They are invariably very good examples either in genuine original condition or fully restored to a high standard.

This sale provides a unique opportunity to acquire some very collectable high quality tractors and machines. For further information about the lots coming to auction, please see the Late Les Walker Collection – Auction Catalogue.
