No Room for Fear of the Unknown

Businesses  in Scotlands’s rural economy need to embrace change now or risk losing out regardless of the political uncertainty enveloping the nation, according to one of our Bell Ingram experts, Malcolm Taylor.

There are increasing signs that voters are fed up with the status quo and have opted for radical change – and with the forthcoming European elections looming, changes could be on the way.

“There is no doubt that Brexit, the chance of another Scottish Referendum and even the Trump Presidential win has created a climate of anxiety. It is too easy to bury our heads in the sand. The flipside is that there are business opportunities to be seized upon. Now is the time for rural businesses to have a serious review of how they think, operate and behave”
